In almost continuous operation since 1986,  The Experimental Ensemble of Cape Cod is a modern concert band performing all-original compositions featuring an eclectic blend of jazz, rock, blues, classical, ethnic and world influences.  Check out our Facebook page at The Experimental Ensemble of Cape Cod.

Made up mostly of Scotty's current and former students, XENSEMBLE has included many fine players over the years including guitarists Joe Justice, Brian Oakley, Rich Klopfer and Brandon Sylvia and Susan McBride ... bassists Kempton Parker, Scott Dean, Mike Pachico, Marco Montez, Keith Woody, Bill Carpenter and Cameron Hall ... keyboardists Bob Marr, Bret Saylor, Paula Hudson and Nancy Stafford ... and percussionists Dave Dickie, Steve Lamoreaux and Brendan Medeiros.  The late-great Dick Wetmore provided awesome solos on violin and coronet.

The current lineup features Scotty West on keyboards and guitar ...Berke McKelvey on saxes, flute and EWI ... Gary Raymond vocalist and MC ... Brian Lamont on keyboards ... Graham Werner on guitars ... "Oz" Osbourne on basses ... and Brian Edson on electronic percussion.
